A Pawsitive Influence currently consists of myself (Karin) and my back up, Nick. Nick is a Certified Veterinary Technician whose work hours at Idexx Laboratories allows him to help fill in when needed. I started this business in January of 2008. Between the two of us, we have over 16 years of animal and pet care experience! For us, animals and pet care is not just a hobby - it is truly a passion and a career.
"A Rock in the City"
When we're not working, we are busy taking care of our own animal family. I have an obsession with knitting and fiber arts, which is balanced out by Nick's love for Legos! We also periodically take in fosters and strays and participate when we can in the Trap-Neuter-Return program for stray cats. In April of 2010, I became the Fundraising Director for American Animal Rescue Society, a local registered 501(c)3 non for profit animal rescue.
